March is a crazy one for birthdays 'round here. This little mermaid is the start of a present in recognition of one of them, which is today. I kinda made her up as I went along, and she's stuffed with rice, which keeps leaking out through the stitches. I'm still dithering how to mount her, as well. But I really like her.

She's so beautiful! Great idea. Why don't you stuff a white stocking in first, and then the rice?
Thanks. Good point about the stocking. I ended up painting her with glue, after I stuck her in the box, which did the trick.
